Rock Hall 21st Birthday

Since opening nearly 21 years ago, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has welcomed 10 million visitors and driven an estimated $2 billion into the local economy. To celebrate its 21st birthday, the Rock Hall will host a series of events. First, it will host the 4th annual Believe in CLE yoga party today at 6:30 p.m. The free event includes a 60-minute Vinyasa yoga practice followed by a post-practice party featuring Fresh DJ Cosimo Maximo. There will also be drinks, appetizers and dancing in the Rock Hall’s new beer garden. Then, from 3 to 7 p.m. tomorrow, the Rock Hall will throw a ’90s style birthday party. The band Old Skool will provide the tunes, and there will be food trucks and games. Guests can also buy Magic Hat Brewing Company beers in the Rock Hall’s new beer garden on the plaza. There will also be a ’90s rap battle and dance contest. The ’90s rock comedy Wayne’s World will screen in Foster Theater where seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The events on the plaza are free; admission to the Rock Hall is $10. (Niesel)
