Rockin' on the River

5-11 p.m. Fridays, through August 29. Broad Blvd. and Front St., Cuyahoga Falls.

This week, Scene's Club Scout takes its annual break from the dark and grungy interior of rock clubs — which, don't get us wrong, we live for — and goes south for Rockin' on the River, the free weekly summer concert series that draws crowds of thousands to Cuyahoga Falls' outdoor pavilion. This year's schedule is loaded with nationally touring tribute bands like Broken Road (a Rascal Flatts cover band, Friday, June 6), Draw the Line (Aerosmith, June 20), and Almost Queen (July 18). But we're going for the funnel cakes. Ummm, funnel cakes. Visit for a full schedule.
