Science Cafe

When: Second Monday of every month

The second Monday of each month, Music Box Supper Club hosts Science Cafe, an informal lecture series that brings scientists from throughout the region to the club to talk about science topics. Tonight at 7, J. Thomas Mortimer, PhD Professor Emeritus of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University, will discuss how scientists can connect a battery to metal electrodes that are positioned near the neuron to activate the membrane protein and can cause the release of neurotransmitters and control sensations. Heady stuff! Admission is free. (Niesel)
