SEED: The Untold Story

When: Tue., Oct. 4 2016

The documentary film, SEED: The Untold Story, follows passionate seed keepers who aim to protect a 12,000 year-old food legacy. Given the greed of the agricultural industry, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that in the last century, most of our seed varieties have disappeared. The film features interviews with Vandana Shiva, Dr. Jane Goodall, Andrew Kimbrell, Winona Laduke and Raj Patel. It screens tonight at 7:30 at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets are $9.50. (Niesel)
