Sharks and Stuff

When: Fri., May 2 2014

Tremont’s convergence-continuum theater company continues its 2014 season with the Cleveland premiere of Swimming in the Shallows, a comedy by Adam Bock. Based on the synopses we’ve seen, it’s a tough one to describe, but a wedding, dream sequences, and sharks are all part of the equation. Tickets are $15 ($12 for seniors and $10 for students) and reservations and information are available online. Con-con has been doing some cool larger year-long programs, and this one’s part of a three-play series called the Menagerie Surreal, which started with Lobster Alice in March/April and will culminate with Erin Courtney’s A Map of Virtue in June/July. The Liminis Theater on Scranton is small and intimate and these plays are always mind-blowingly fresh. (Allard)
