Seasonal Special Happenings

Silent but Scary

When: Thu., Oct. 30 2014

Often considered to be the "grandaddy of all German Expressionist films," The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari is a spooky silent film about a hypnotist who commands a sleepwalker to commit a series of horrible crimes (don't you hate it when that happens?). The movie screens tonight at 6:45 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque as part of its Rediscoveries and Restorations program. It shows again tomorrow night at 9:35. Tickets are $9. (Niesel)
