Snap Back Sundays at Twist

4:30 p.m., 21 and over, no cover. 11633 Clifton Blvd., 216-221-2333.

Every Sunday, Cleveland's Doug Burkhart spins house at Twist, dishing out a broad selection from the genre -- but all his choice cuts have one thing in common: they're funky. "I play a little bit of everything," says Burkhart. "From laid-back San Francisco to more soulful and vocal East Coast. It's all groovin'. It's all current, but if you like classic house, you'll be into it." Burkhart starts the proceedings early, Stout XTC closes the night, and this week's special guest is Plate Techtonics' Damon Havil, serving up microhouse and minimal techno.
