The second-annual Akron Reading Festival opens today with Mr. Spock himself, Leonard Nimoy, addressing bookworms and nerds alike. Over the next three days, the festival will feature workshops, lectures, and puppet shows at various venues. Writers like Jason Fagone, Tom Oliphant, and Connie Schultz will be on hand to share the joy of reading with audiences. The fest runs through Sunday throughout Akron.
