Chris Porter says there’s only one drawback to being a contestant on NBC’s reality show Last Comic Standing: By the time the series ends, everyone knows all your jokes. “People don’t want to hear them again,” says the Kansas City native, who appeared on the program’s fourth season last year. “They think they do, but they really don’t. Someone will [request] a joke, and I’ll tell it. Then they won’t laugh, and I’m like Of course you’re not going to laugh. You already know it!”
