In Greater Tuna, two actors play everyone who lives in a small Texas town. The Beck Center's production of this comedy by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard stars Nicholas Koesters and Kevin Joseph Kelly as the men, women, kids, and animals of Tuna, Texas' third-smallest town. It's not the first time Koesters and Kelly have played these roles. They starred in Beck's original production back in 1997.
The play the first part of the Tuna Trilogy, which also includes A Tuna Christmas and Red, White, and Tuna satirizes rural America. Characters include redneck radio hosts, a dejected cheerleader, and a shady preacher. Koesters and Kelly don cheap suits, funny hats, and plenty of dresses to bring them all to life onstage.
Sundays, 3 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m. Starts: Nov. 26. Continues through Dec. 17
