The Big Sleep

The late, great Howard Hawks directs The Big Sleep, a 1946 film that stars Humphrey Bogart as a private eye who gets mixed up with two sisters from a wealthy family. A 35mm print of the movie screens tonight at 7 and again at 6:45 on Friday night at the Cleveland Museum of Art as part of the museum's Bogart & Bacall series. Tickets are $11, $8 for CMA members, seniors and students. (Niesel)
