Horror movie icons Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi teamed up for the first time for The Black Cat, a 1934 film from director Edgar G. Ulmer. Set in the aftermath of World War I, the movie centers on a couple whose honeymoon turns into a nightmare after its bus crashes in Hungary. Tonight at 7 and Sunday night at 8:30, the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque shows a print from the Universal Pictures studio archive. Tickets are $10. (Niesel)
