The Horror! The Horror!

Jake Kelly and Jeremy Von Cobb sat through countless movie marathons at home before they decided to share their love of slashers and monsters at Jake and Jeremy's Evening of Horror. Every week, Kelly and Von Cobb unspool a six-to-eight-hour fest of terror and exploitation films. They even supply free pizza and beer! Since they started the event last October, Kelly and Von Cobb have shown such flicks as The Slumber Party Massacre, City of the Walking Dead, and I Spit on Your Grave. And like the fellow B-movie lovers on Mystery Science Theater 3000, they encourage audience participation. If you have something to shout at the screen, by all means, say it, says Von Cobb. "Come prepared to quip," he says. Each Evening of Horror comes with a theme (like Toxic Wasted Night or Backwoods Terror Night). Tonight is Post-Apocalypse Night, featuring screenings of The Road Warrior, 1990: The Bronx Warriors, 2020 Texas Gladiators, and Def-Con 4.
