The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Based on the Victor Hugo novel and featuring songs from the Disney film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame focuses on Quasimodo, a deformed bell-ringer living in 15th-century Paris. Despite his appearance, he falls for Esmeralda, a beautiful gypsy. The story follows his attempts to save her from a suitor who doesn't have her best interests in mind. The Great Lakes Theater production of the play opens tonight at 7:30 at the Hanna Theatre, on Playhouse Square, where it runs through Nov. 4.
