The King's Return

When: Thu., Oct. 30 2014

The anticipation couldn’t be hotter for tonight’s season opener between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks. LeBron James has come home — re-established, 2014, as the billboard says — and thus begins what just may be a historic campaign in the annals of Cleveland professional sports. Chances are, you weren’t able to score tickets to tonight’s game, which tips off at 8 p.m. Courtside tickets were seen selling for as high as $20,000 in recent weeks. But all of downtown will be bumping in celebration of the king’s return, not the least of which will be the Huron parking lot, where, from 4 to 11 p.m. the Cavaliers and Turner Sports are hosting a free fan fest headlined by musical artist Kendrick Lamar and comedian Kevin Hart.
