The Mystery of the Violin

When: Wed., Nov. 18 2015

Since the 16th century, the violin has had a deep and meaningful connection with the Jewish people. Tonight at 7 at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, Dr. Julian Ross, a professor of violin and head of the Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music's String Department, talks about that connection. He'll also share personal connections to the instrument and perform on one of the violins from Violins of Hope, the Maltz's exhibit featuring violins that have survived the Holocaust. Tickets are $12, $6 for Maltz Museum members. (Niesel)
