The Not-Forbidden Dance

North East Ohio Tango puts its best foot forward at tonight’s New Year’s Eve celebration in Akron. During the city’s First Night Akron party, the group will perform a number of “hit and runs,” in which it’ll blast a boombox in a crowded public area, dance a jig or two, and then move on to another spot. Then the group hosts a concert by Tangueros de Ley, while revelers shake their bon-bons on the dance floor. And don’t worry if you have two left feet: Pre-show tango lessons will have you busting a move in no time.
