The Piano Man

A child prodigy who began taking piano lessons when he was only 3, Lang Lang is one of the most renowned pianists in the world. His extensive resumé includes performances with the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra. He joins the Cleveland Orchestra tonight at 7:30 at Severance Hall to play selections by Chopin and Strauss. Performances are scheduled through Sunday with a special after-party set for Friday night’s show that will feature the jazz act Hot Club of Detroit. Tickets start at $35. (Niesel)
