Scoundrels bartender Marcy Burns offers a tip to tonight's Beer Pong contestants: Don't throw the ball directly at the cup. "You've got to have an arc on it," she says. "Otherwise, it's gonna bounce off." The club hosts tournaments every Monday; two-player teams that make it through preliminaries will play at the December 4 finals. The winners will then go to Las Vegas in January to play at the World Series of Beer Pong. Yes, there is such a thing, and it is very competitive.
Mondays, 10 p.m. Starts: Sept. 18. Continues through Dec. 4
