The man who stole the world’s heart takes over 100 theaters across the U.S. today, and we’re lucky enough to have a screening at the Capitol Theatre. The documentary David Bowie Is explores the life and career of this fascinating artist, providing never-before-seen footage and little-known facts about various costumes, shows and more. An exhibition at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art opens along with the film’s debut, but you don’t need to drive seven hours to see the various objects on display; the film has it all. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $12.50. (Trenholme)
