The Twilight Sad/Errors/Nights/In Silent Movies

When: Sat., Nov. 17, 9 p.m. 2012

While their style puts them in the same class as your typical hipster indie rock act, the Twilight Sad has a Scottish background sets it apart. The trio’s 2007 debut album, Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters, mixes rock drums and folk guitars with an pronounced accent. The band’s third full-length, this year’s No One Can Ever Know, is a more mature version of its previous albums and allows the band to experiment with newer electronic sounds, something that’s apparent on the album’s catchy first single “Sick.” (Nikki Hunt)

Price: $10 ADV, $12 DOS
