The Garage Bar hosts a Rockabilly Riot every Saturday through the end of the summer. And if burgers on the patio aren't enough to get you out, come for the live music. This week, the Twistin' Tarantulas could get a robot to swing its hips. The roots-rockin' trio dress the part, but they otherwise avoid rockabilly clichés, playing hybrid jump-blues/rockabilly with punk attitude. Live, they've been known to cover Tom Waits, Bauhaus, Misfits, Motörhead, Tom Jones, Ramones, and Kiss. Promises the band, "This is no 1950s dog-n-pony show."
