Towering Tom Hanks

by

Creeped out by The Polar Express’ CGI rendering of Tom Hanks? Wait till you see him on the massive Omnimax screen! That eerie factor aside, the film version of Chris Van Allsburg’s beloved holiday book is a stunning visual piece that perfectly captures the tale’s snow-covered dreamscapes. Dazzling sights -- like a locomotive plowing through forests and valleys, and Santa’s spectacular entrance -- are even more impressive on the towering screen. Factor in the theater’s wall-rattling sound system, and you’ll believe in Santa like a five-year-old on Christmas morning.
