Sidewalk Cinema has become a summer tradition in downtown Kent, with free screenings starting at dusk at the Hometown Bank Plaza on the last Friday of the month. Tonight’s Twilight Zone marathon will feature four episodes of the seminal Rod Serling TV series. Before the screening, there’ll be a children’s dance performance called “Beyond Gravity.” Bring a blanket or lawn chair, and be sure to get there early to snag some of the free pizza they’ll be passing out. It’s one of many arts and community events presented by Kent’s Standing Rock Cultural Arts, in conjunction with downtown Kent business owners. In case of rain, the screening moves indoor to the Kent Stage at 175 East Main St.
