Vanity Crash CD Release

It makes sense that the latest offering from the local glam outfit Vanity Crash would be a concept album. Their new album, Yours, Justice, centers on the story of one Augustus Justice (AJ, for short), a guy who becomes a serial killer after his fiancee dumps his sorry ass. This is familiar territory for the band — a couple of years back, the guys were the house band for the Cleveland Public Theatre's production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Though the disc starts slow with a lengthy "overture," it doesn't take long for the guys to turn on the glam and deliver grandiose, Bowie-inspired anthems. (Niesel)
