When: Wednesdays, 6-9 p.m. Continues through Aug. 29 2012
When does a Wednesday feel like a Friday? When you end it at Wade Oval Wednesdays, the weekly outdoor party in University Circle. Tonight’s early TGIFing features cool, groovy jams from Waterband; think Grateful Dead or Phish. Led by founders “Dreadlock Dave” McDougald and John Welton, the band aims to send good vibes throughout the audience. Soak ‘em up from your lawn chair or blanket, with family, friends, or even a
picnic. Once you’ve got your mellow on, check out the farmers market, the beer and wine garden, local food vendors, and the kids’ activities. It’s all happening on Wade Oval, adjacent to the Cleveland Botanical Garden from 6 to 9 p.m. The free events continue each Wednesday through August 29. See the website for more information.
