Atomic Bitchwax tours Wuropem gets hitched.

Stoner-rock trio Atomic Bitchwax has had a busy year. After wrapping up a European tour last winter, the New Jersey band took a brief break during the summer while its drummer got married. The guys are currently in the middle of a monthlong U.S. jaunt that brings them to Parma tonight. The group's fifth CD, Boxriff, is just like its self-titled 1999 debut, "but wrapped around actual tunes," says bassist Chris Kosnik. Somebody at MTV must be a fan of Atomic Bitchwax's '70s-inspired psychedelic rock, because earlier this year, the network used the band's "Birth to the Earth" and "Shit Kicker" on Homewrecker, the reality show hosted by former Jackass Ryan Dunn.
