Weekend Nachos/Homewrecker/Vice/Wasted Blood

When: Thu., May 19, 8:30 p.m. 2016

This gig has its fair share of storylines. Legendary power-violence quartet Weekend Nachos are making a final Cleveland stop on their farewell tour, hometown boys Homewrecker are playing their 2012 LP Worms & Dirt in full, and Wasted Blood will be calling it quits after their opening set. Add Ohio hardcore mainstays Vice into the mix, and you have one of the best punk lineups of the year so far. Expect plenty of violent guitar riffage from Nachos, as they’ve made themselves known for their groovy yet grind-y style throughout their career — 2012’s Worthless, their most popular release, is chock full of it. Fan favorites “Hometown Hero” and “Jock Powerviolence,” both off Worthless, will certainly pop up in their set at some point. If a stressful workweek has you daydreaming of mosh pits, don’t miss this one. (Shively)

Price: $10 ADV, $12 DOS
