Curious about the trees and shrubs growing in parks and lawns? Many people are familiar with common tree leaves—oaks, maples, and buckeyes—but identifying trees can be done even when the leaves are down. Join Dr. Ted Auch and DBWP for an educational hike in the Doan Brook Gorge focusing on spotting common native and naturalized trees and shrubs. Learn why different species of trees grow where they do, and understand how trees relate to stormwater and pollution control. Please dress for the elements and expect steep terrain. Contact Graham at 216-325-7781 or email@example.com to register.
