Worst in the East

When: Wed., Feb. 19 2014

Is there anything left to say, really? For all I know, the Cavs will have made a “significant roster move” by today and anything I write will no longer be relevant. Guard Kyrie Irving probably dribbled a lot during the All-Star Game, am I right? This evening, one day after a game against the 76ers, the Cavs play the Magic at the Q. The 76ers and Magic are two of the four worst teams in the East, so the team’s performance tonight will in many respects be a barometer for their ability to pick it up in the final third of the season. At this point, it doesn’t really seem like anyone cares. Maybe the Q’s ushers will throw up their hands and let you sit courtside. Tipoff is at 7. (Although it might be worth hanging in a bar until 7:30 just to see if they’re down by 20 points in the first quarter. If that’s the case, don’t even bother.) Tickets start at $10. (Allard)
