Set in 18th century South America, Zama, the first film in nine years from Argentinian director Antonio Di Benedetto, centers on a servant of the Spanish crown who tries to find a way to transfer from his rural outpost into Buenos Aires. The movie makes its local debut tonight at 8:35 at the Cleveland Institute of Art Cinematheque, where it screens again at 7:15 tomorrow night. Tickets are $10, $7 for Cinematheque members and students. (Niesel)
