7/21: Crüe Fest 2 at Blossom

Bigger and ostensibly badder than last year’s inaugural affair, Crüe Fest 2 arrives at Blossom as one of a lean summer’s few package tours. This time around, Motley Crüe has recruited Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils (who have an automatic in since they’re signed to Nikki Sixx’s label). While the openers won’t offer anything groundbreaking, the Crüe celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dr. Feelgood by playing the album in its entirety. That’s good news, since the band’s last album, last year’s Saints of Los Angeles, was a completely forgettable listen. The show starts at 5 p.m. at Blossom Music Center (1145 W. Steels Corners Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, 216.241.5555). Tickets: $29.50-$95. — Jeff Niesel
