8/3: Fear Before at Peabody's

The band previously known as Fear Before the March of Flames released its self-titled, fourth album last year. They not only dropped part of their name, they lost two members too. The quartet continue their redefinition onstage, translating the raucous, thrashing songs off their latest album into an equally energetic live show. The group has been a concert powerhouse ever since its inception six years ago. Expect to hear many old songs in tonight’s set list. “Should Have Stayed in the Shallows,” from 2004’s Art Damage, is a fan fave that still deserves three minutes in the spotlight. Memphis May Fire, Of Machines and This Time Next Year open at 6 p.m. at Peabody’s (2083 E. 21st St., 216.776.9999). Tickets: $10. — Emily Zemler
