Cleveland Public Theatre calls its annual arts-benefit party Pandemonium for good reason. There are more than two dozen performers (including dance companies, comedy companies and live bands), food prepared by a team of hot chefs and an open bar. This year’s outing, Forbidden Knowledge, promises an extra energy boost thanks to the newly revived Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. The opening of the renovated Capitol Theatre and the Detroit Avenue streetscape are the latest developments in decades of reinvestment that began in the early ’80s, when founder James Levin chose the location for CPT. This year’s Pandemonium lineup includes Inlet Dance Theater, Theater Ninjas, Wind & Sand Dance Company, Last Call Cleveland, Double-Edge Dance, Antaeus Dance, UrbanArtz, Aaron Bonk and more. It starts at 7 p.m. at Cleveland Public Theatre (6415 Detroit Ave., 216.631.2727). Tickets: $125. — Michael Gill
