Just back from a gig at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art (where they played in the Medieval Sculpture Galleries), the Burning River Brass is home for the holidays. You can’t get more festive than a dozen musicians with trumpets, tubas and trombones … unless you add a mighty pipe organ to the mix. And that’s exactly what Burning River is gonna do, when Todd Wilson (chair of the Cleveland Institute of Music’s organ department, artist in residence at Trinity Cathedral and house organist at Stan Hywet Hall, among many other roles) joins the group in a performance that starts at 8 p.m. at Severance Hall (11001 Euclid Ave., 216.231.1111). Tickets: $26-$60. — Michael Gill
