You really can’t have a bad time when the North Coast Men’s Chorus is in the room. The word “dull” just isn’t in these guys’ vocabulary. So you’re looking at one heck of a party when the chorus hosts its Mardi Gras Celebration to benefit the chorus, Bellefaire JCB, and the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network. The chorus will perform, of course, while guests feast on Mardi Gras-themed food, make their bids in the silent and live auctions, and show off their costumes and masks, with prizes going to the best ones. We hope the chorus members aren’t eligible, because they’ve got a few shameless members who will wear just about anything — or a great deal less. It takes place from 6:30-10:30 p.m. at Windows on the River (2000 Sycamore St.). Tickets are $50. Call 440.799.4270 or go ncmchorus.org for information and tickets. — Anastasia Pantsios
