Nick Jackson's higher education

Nick Jackson may have many faults, but lying on his resume is not one of them. According to city records, Jackson received associates' degrees in industrial management technology, quality assurance, and industrial engineering technology from the Applied Technology Institute. Unfortunately, the Cleveland school closed a year after he graduated, which was why Scene couldn't locate it for our story on Jackson ("The Face of Incompetence"). Locating copies of Jackson's diplomas was a problem, too. The city of Cleveland took three weeks to respond to Scene's request for Jackson's personnel file, conveniently missing our publication deadline. The diplomas were included in the file. — Lisa Rab
