I doubt you've ever heard of Twinsburg or its township.
I'm a minor living in the township, a predominately black neighborhood. I was raised there. It's the only home I know. Growing up, there was always police on patrol, some glaring at everyone (even kids) as if we were criminals. But when you enter the main part of town, there's barely a cop to be found.
Earlier this week, a brother of a friend of my family was beaten by two drug dealers who live on my street. He died of a fatal heart attack before he could receive medical attention. The men who killed him are still on the run. The man who died was a drug addict. I understand this. But I have one question: If there are so many police patrolling the neighborhood, then how didn't any of them hear it happening?
