A random but reliable sample of the weekend's entertainment options, cooked up weekly by C-Notes ... Friday: Ink slingers share the spotlight tonight for the Davenport’s (6287 Pearl Road, Parma Heights) inaugural Addicted Tattoo Party. Starting at 8 p.m., tat specialists from nearby Addicted Body Art will give their irons a workout for barflies who’d like to add a little color to their skin. If a little pain freaks you out, the club stocks more than 120 brands of brew to numb the senses. Saturday: You can’t go wrong on a Saturday night with a BYOB night at Akron’s Earthworm (16 S. Highland Avenue), with its eclectic lineup of indie-rock bands that turn up for a pay-if-you-can concert. Tonight’s bill includes Pennsylvania’s Geronimo and Where Nowhere Begins as well as Cleveland’s the Announced, and Akron’s Karate Bullfighter. The show starts at 8 p.m. Sunday: Cleveland native and American Gladiator star Valerie Waugaman signs autographs at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar (8465 Pearl Road in Strongsville; 440-243-9464) tonight before the show’s TV premiere at 9 p.m., when stunt pros battle everyday Joes in jousting, wall climbing, and other weekend-warrior games. Once you meet Waugaman, you’ll see why fans call the 5-foot-9, 145-pound stunner “the Siren.” Monday: There’s no excuse for thirsty OSU fans to stay at home for tonight’s BCS championship game between the Buckeyes and LSU. The bounty of watering holes with drink and munchie specials during the showdown ranges from 16-ounce mugs of draft beer at Time Out’s Sports Grill (34900 Center Ridge Road in N. Ridgeville; 440-327-3898) to $4 pitchers of domestic brew at Pug Mahone’s (17621 ½ Detroit Avenue in Lakewood; 216-228-8874). Full Force Rock Shop is peddling $1 hot dogs and 25-cent buffalo wings, and C-Town Grill and Bar (1003 W. Royalton Road in Broadview Heights; 440-230-0760) will lay out a freebie buffet of heavy apps. At the Jigsaw (www.myspace.com/jigsawsaloon), the club will fire up an outdoor pit for an all-you-can-eat pig roast while Brutus the mascot puts in some face time at the Closing Room (13813 Lorain Avenue; 216-688-1670). Go Bucks! -- Cris Glaser
