Relive Cleveland's Rock Past

XM will relive the glory days of WIXY's Jack Armstrong next week.
A bunch of old farts will embrace new technology on Friday, January 18, when XM Satellite Radio pays tribute to Cleveland radio station WIXY, which went off the air before most of you were born. Back in the day, the AM station played all the gear hits by all the fab groups, like the Beatles and the Supremes. XM’s ’60s radio channel airs a “Sonic Sound Salutes” program – complete with original news, tunes, and commercials -- every Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. Here’s your chance to relive Cleveland’s good ol’ days, before iPods, hip-hop, and internet porn ruined everything. -- Michael Gallucci
