Expect Karen Small's recipe in Food & Wine to show up at her Ohio City gem, the Flying Fig.
Apparently not content merely to own one of the city’s top restaurants, chef Karen Small (Flying Fig) has turned to tempting the entire nation’s tastebuds, with her recipe for Goat Cheese Mousse with Red-Wine Caramel, featured in the April issue of Food & Wine. F&W operative Kristin Donnelly had discovered the starter last summer, during a whirlwind reconnoiter of our fair city’s dining scene. “She liked it, and asked for the recipe to hold until spring, when strawberries are back in season,” explains the chef.
