Tickets still available for Saturday's Lottery League show

If you haven’t purchased your tix to the Lottery League show Saturday night at the Beachland, you’re in luck – the show isn’t sold out yet, but we can’t promise that it will stay that way for long. With a total of 33 bands on the bill, there will surely be a lot of friends and family waiting at the door, which opens at 4 p.m. For those who haven’t heard, the Lottery League began as a nothing more than a silly idea, where local musicians would be drafted into bands with strangers -- kinda of like a fantasy league draft for musicians, only without the fantasy part… 147 artists were randomly assigned into 33 new bands with only one rule: no one could play in a band with someone they’d played music with before. The results so far have been pretty wild – metal gods hooking up with pop singers, and classically trained cellists finding their place amongst indie pop kids. Tomorrow night, all 33 bands will be hitting the stage for 10-minute sets. The show starts at 5 p.m., and you can still purchase tickets here. If you want to know more about the bands and their sounds before you slap down your $15, you can read a detailed blog of their progress here. And if you already have tickets, but don’t think you can muster the energy for 33 bands, here’s the official lineup: Beachland Tavern Jovana's Witness Ballroom (second stage) Big Sex Ballroom (main stage) Swayze All Over Beachland Tavern Hungry Jack Ballroom (second stage) Good News For People With Credit Problems Ballroom (main stage) Old Dildo Beachland Tavern Jettaland Ballroom (second stage) Dehumidifier vs. Humidifier Ballroom (main stage) Twist It Nasty 15 minute intermission Beachland Tavern The Anal Cheetahs Ballroom (second stage) Boris Karloff Ballroom (main stage) Space Wizard Beachland Tavern The Audacity of Dope Ballroom (second stage) Shampoon Ballroom (main stage) Mohammed Cartoon Beachland Tavern Rad Bathhouse Ballroom (second stage) Skunks of The Almighty Ballroom (main stage) Homelesssexual 15 minute intermission Beachland Tavern Free Moments Ballroom (second stage) The Valley of Life Ballroom (main stage) Allied Federation Partnership Association Beachland Tavern Hapsburg Lip Ballroom (second stage) Chicago UK Ballroom (main stage) Postcards Along Foreign Shores Beachland Tavern Gandhi SS Ballroom (second stage) Fuck Is the New Black Ballroom (main stage) Stimulus Package 15 minute intermission Beachland Tavern Cleveland Public Power Ballroom (second stage) Semper Fi Ballroom (main stage) Bourbon Outfitters Beachland Tavern Dr. Widget Ballroom (second stage) Born Raped Ballroom (main stage) Snuggle Prophet -- Denise Grollmus
