Plain Dealer Circulation Drops Again

Newspapers are going through hard times, if you haven't heard. Something about the internet and declining interest in Family Circus, or something.

New numbers Audit Bureau of Circulations show that, yes, newspaper circulations dropped again in the last six month period, but not as sharply as they had in the previous period.

There was a 5% drop in daily circulation and a 4.5% drop in Sundays.

The Plain Dealer is now at 252,608 daily copies in the period ending September 30, 2010 (down 6.85% from September 30, 2009) and 348,324 Sunday copies (down 10.83% from September 30, 2009).

Check out how that compares nationally and the full report here.
