According to an informal study conducted at the Scene office, productivity was down a whopping 87 percent yesterday because everyone was trying to download the new Girl Talk album. Those who succeeded spent the day playing "Spot the Sample" with coworkers.
And apparently we weren't the only ones doing nothing yesterday. MTV claims Girl Talk (a.k.a. former Case Western Reserve University student Gregg Gillis) broke the Internet yesterday. Happy?
We still have All Day loaded on iTunes, so we can't guarantee our Tuesday is going to be any more productive. If you haven't had a chance to download the album yet (it's free, so what are you waiting for? Oh, that's right: the Internet broke and you probably couldn't download it), you should. Just don't let your boss know. —Michael Gallucci
