Blossom Announces First Shows of 2011

You probably aren’t thinking about the summer concert season yet, but if you’re a true-blue country fan, maybe you should. The first concert announcements for Blossom Music Center have just arrived. As has been typical in recent years, it looks like the season will be anchored by country superstars, including Sugarland (May 13), Kenny Chesney (June 23), Toby Keith (July 15), Tim McGraw (August 12), Jason Aldean (September 17), and Rascal Flatts (date to be announced later).

Those who want to get a jump on the casual fans and get their seats nailed down now for the whole series of shows can purchase the Carhartt Country Megaticket, ranging in price from $155 to $599 for six shows, depending on whether you want to be on the lawn, or in the upper or lower pavilion. The Megatickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, February 21 at Single-concert ticket prices and availability will be announced at a later date. — Anastasia Pantsios
