Here’s an early warning for Devo fans. The DEVOtional, a fan gathering that’s been held for the past 11 years in Northeast Ohio, attracting Devo fans from round the country, will take place August 26 and 27. Once again, it will be at the Beachland Ballroom. It will again feature a Friday night jam session of Devo-inspired artists — don’t let the word “jam” fool you into thinking you’re going to hear versions of “Dark Star” or “Truckin’” — and an all-day event on Saturday. A show of “spudtastic” art at another location is in the planning stages.
To see what you missed last year, there’s a report here.
