If you are drunk and need to nap in the back of your car, a couple of groundrules: 1) Park your car somewhere safe and inconspicuous, not, for example, in a random person's driveway. 2) Best to dispose of any open containers before shutting your eyes, lest the cops show up and find you nuzzled in the middle of a small mountain of empty Busch Light cans.
58-year-old Susan Ide could have used a refresher on those helpful hints, it seems. A couple of homeowners called the police after seeing Ide's Ford Fusion in their driveway. Cops found her sleeping in the back of the car around 2:30 p.m.
According to the Sandusky Register, there was plenty of Busch Light in the vehicle, as well as a bottle of vodka, which went a long way toward explaining Ide's obvious intoxication. Once roused, which took considerable effort on the cops' part, Ide told them to "go away" and "leave me alone."
They kept her awake long enough to take this glorious mugshot.
