One local news personality has landed the big score: a sit-down with the President of the United States. Yesterday, News Channel 3 aired portions of a White House interview with anchor Ramona Robinson. As the station reminds you again and again, she’s the only local newscaster invited to chat with the big man. Props indeed. The conversation ranges over gas prices, unemployment, Senate Bill 5, and even our own slimy soap opera of county corruption.

We haven’t seen all the footage, but we hear Robinson also turns the ol’ journalistic heat up to such a degree that the president wilts before the scrutiny and orders his birth certificate be unearthed from its secret location. That’s what we hear.
