Among Joe Publics, Dan Gilbert might remain a folk hero, the owner who thinks and speaks like the common fan but with a much larger microphone. On the other hand, plenty of folks in the media have little respect for what feels and reads like transparent pettiness and a childish inability to move on. Our view: we're mildly impressed Gilbert restrained himself enough to not pull an intentional Rep. Weiner on Twitter last night.
