John Kasich Declares Dallas Mavericks "Honorary Ohioans"

Ohio Governor John Kasich decreed the Dallas Mavericks as "Honorary Citizens" for tomorrow. What that exactly means, we're not sure. The Mavs, friends, family, and organization will get to enjoy all the "privileges and honors" of being Ohioans for a day, and we're not sure what that means either. Are they granted one-day residency? Do they all get a chocolate-covered Buckeye? Do they have to get an E-Check before leaving? Is Kasich worried they'll sign SB5 petitions? Are they allowed to say, "Um, no thank you."?

The pr-grabbing move is a tad embarrassing and not even worth dissecting, despite the multi-layered silliness, but would expect anything else?
